Village Pourhouse:
Welcome to the Village Pourhouse. It’s a tavern, it’s a lounge, and it’s a loud, boisterous sports bar…got that? Located right across the street from a movie theater, the Pourhouse helps drown the sorrows of moviegoers who just paid $11 for a Vin Diesel movie. The front room has an antique New York ale house vibe, followed by “The Dugout,” where three high-definition TVs and a hook-up for private kegs mean it’s “batter up” for sports fans. What happens in the VIP-lite “Vegas Room” stays there, but sadly the “Red Light Room” isn’t as salacious as its name might imply. A place called the Pourhouse is clearly all about the drink specials, so give your credit card a rest and enjoy a $1.95 Natty Light served in a brown paper bag on White Trash Mondays. It’ll help wash down your 25-cent wings.
This is one if the greatest sports bars in the city, if not THE best. Literally, you are surrounded by TVs and sports memorabilia and there's even a lounge to chill out in. They have TONS of beer so you will find what you want, guaranteed! It's a great night out with my buddies, with a surprising amount of hot chicks who may or may not be into sports, but does it really matter? The crowds are chill and food is good, and by the end of the night everyone is little bit closer

My coworkers and I go to the Village Pourhouse all the time after work. They have great happy hour specials, tons of beer and the bar food is actually really good. The atmosphere is cool and the crowd is the same way, really chill and laid back. There’s none of that I’m better than everyone attitude that you find at some of the other places in NYC. Even the service staff, is quick, friendly, and down to earth. I always love the music, and there’s always some sporting event on their flat screens located throughout the bar. It’s always a great time at The Village Pourhouse.
