A much-needed addition to the frat-tastic land of Murray Hill, Vino 313 brings refined digs to a neighborhood inundated with college bars and wannabe dance clubs. Though the term ‘wine bar’ often evokes the image of a tight, dimly-lit space walled with dark wood and consignment art, Vino defies preconceptions by using large sunny windows and vibrant orange colors to make it feel more like a French café than a bar. The restaurant offers an eclectic array of hot and cold small plates as well as a rather pricey (yet extensive) wine list. Do your bank account a favor and stop in between 5 and 7pm Sunday through Tuesday for their $20 wine flights (tapas included). Open Mon.-Sat. 5pm-2am, Sun. 11am-3pm, 5pm-2am.
