Part wine store, part wine bar—this is one of those part genius, part common sense ideas that you kick yourself for not coming up with. Remember though—drinking and shopping is a dangerous combination, and that is especially true here. Sure you’re shopping for something to drink, but have too much fun and you’ll wind up with a makeshift wine cellar. A glass wall separates the two sections so shoppers can watch drinkers lounging on leather couches and ottomans while sipping the goods from the 25+ wine list. If you like what you’re drinking, buy a bottle to take home, or buy a bottle first and BYOB it to the other side of the glass wall to pair it with a selection of cheeses. Events like Jazz Thursdays, tastings, and Bella Bellini night only add to the fun.
It's true what they say. I bought way more than I should have because I just could not stop drinking. However, the staff knows their wines, so I was not too disappointed in myself. I took home some great bottles of wine after sipping them first at the bar.
