Vintage is not for the indecisive. With over 70 types of beer and 200 kinds of martinis (the drink menu, like a bartender’s bible, is broken down into sections according to liquor), you can spend a lifetime gaping at the menu before making a decision. But not to worry; Vintage is decked out with comfy couches on which to ponder your choices, and the super-friendly staff won’t rush you. Young professionals who come to this laidback, “mature” restaurant dine on typical American fare—burgers, steaks, nachos, wings, and seafood—out on the outdoor patio. On Sundays and Mondays, things pick up thanks to live jazz. With any luck, you (and your intoxication preferences) will get wiser with age.
Never wanting the weekend to end, I have been searching for a cool place to go on Sunday nights to prolong the inevitable Monday morning grind. I think Ive found it. The live jazz at this place is some of the best I have heard in the city. With so many beers to chose from, I will have to keep coming back in order to discover my favorite!
