Vudu Lounge:
This Upper East Side dance club provides a Mad Hot Ballroom experience for young jetsetters on the weekends. On Thursdays and Fridays, Vudu’s DJs spin salsa and merengue, so everyone can show off the fancy footwork they learned on Dancing with the Stars. Later in the evenings, hip-hop and reggae are played, giving the club a tribal theme reflected in the décor. Sun mirrors hang over red leather banquettes with swirling backs, while a throne-like chair (lined with maroon velvet) sits before a mantelpiece between the dance floor and the bar, flanked by two small palm trees. A large mirror placed adjacent to the dance floor lets revelers watch their own moves during Thursday’s happy hour, aka the “Latin After-work Party”—2-for-1 drinks, a buffet, and the only time admission is free. Sounds like it’s time to put those moves to the test.
been here a couple of times and its cool. you get to unwind fellas are nice dancers & the place is respectable. bartenders are friendly and drinks are strong try the COOKIES & CRISP well worth it

This place is amazing. Strong drinks, cheap fun and we can dance. Its like the dance clubs in the trendy spots but right next to my house.

I went here about three times and its a good place to hang. They have a bartender there who is a bit on the stank side(attitude wise)but other than that the music's great, the drinks r great, and so r the people.
