Webster Hall:
Webster Hall owns the title “New York’s Largest Running Nightclub” (they’ve been around over 125 years!), so it’s safe to say they serve up more than just sweet cocktails and legendary acts. The venue excites a young crowd—very young—so if you are over 21 prepare to be one of the few not marked by the scarlet letter "X" on your hand. But hey, you’re there for the music, and the four-level club has plenty of it, ranging from live DJs and MCs to rooms playing hip hop 24/7. The basement club, Studio, also caters to an 18+ crowd, but at least you can bypass the unmovable line to jam downstairs. Don't expect any mixology; the drinks are basic, ex. whiskey on the rocks for $13, but it’s worth it when you’re swaying with thousands of fellow fans just a few feet away from your favorite act.
Simple Webster Hall is the best play in new york city their only needing latin music to be complete

I have been to this club a number of times and had a great time. Yes there are some forward guys but hey thats almost every club and bar. If your there to have a good time with the girls or friends it shouldn't matter! I recommend the vip area for only 70 bucks you can get open bar for top shelf and not worry about the crowds!

Went there for New Years Eve last night... After purchasing $135 tickets in advance for a 6 hour open bar and waiting on line to enter, we were pretty pissed to see non-ticket holders purchase tix for $125 and walk right in.The fact I was frisked and searched upon entry also should have tipped me off to the evening I was about to have. If you are from Jersey and have spiked hair, you will fit right in. The place was so oversold you could barely move. Do to a scuffle on the barely moving staircase, my girlfriend and I were literally picked up and thrown out of the bar. We watched as they threw another girl out after us. The police were on the street casually watching as the meat head bouncers actually threw the girl into the wooden barricades. It was a cheesy ghetto crowd, and the bouncers were nothing more than thugs. The only reason the club is still around is because of the steady flow of tourists and the B&T crowd. It's one of the worst places I've ever been.

Sweaty, overly forward men on the dance floor, wet T-shirt contests, the good old days...
