Yerba Buena:
Coming here is like stepping back into old-time Havana, minus the street gangs. The dark and breezy space has a calming Hemingway-era tropical color scheme, leafy wallpaper and white banquettes. Simple, pan-Latin dishes are mostly of Peruvian, Argentinean and Cuban influence. Highlights include a range of ceviches, stewed rabbit and roasted suckling pig. The smoked glass bar is spacious and comfortable, and there’s a wide menu of drinks to choose from, priced at $11. The signature Yerba Buena mojito is made with the mint-like herb the restaurant is named for—aka “good herb.” Sounds like a recipe for relaxation to us.
People.... the "tradicion" of yerba buena is good herb, as in one that heal the body, mind and or spirit. So mint can be a "yerba buena". Real translations can get misconstrued when there isn't a real explanation from the root of the meaning. Could some one tell me if this is a tasty place for brunch?

Actually for the sake of clarification...yerba buena translates to Mint mostly "peppermint" not "good herb" as it mentions in the description.
