The Lower East Side is full of bars to pick up a date, but where to go when you've actually snagged one? Veer away from the raucous partiers and head toward Zoë Feigenbaum's eponymous den, where you’ll find the Chef Academy alum herself, running between kitchen and bar to keep everything in line. Pull up at an intimate table or choose a seat at the wide bar (made especially for dining) and order one of their old-world wines or a bottle of beer. Their food offerings, too, combine the new and the old in an innovative “New York American” menu, which allows you to turn up the romance with oysters (6 for $12) to start. Move on to quail with orange rosemary jelly ($10) and finish with the Movie Candy Ice Cream Sundae (comeplete with homemade Junior Mints!). And if your date at Zoë goes exactly as planned, don't push your luck—head back to your new get-lucky spot the next morning for brunch ($6-$15)!
