| Located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Sapphire Lounge is an old-school lounge that´s like a party in your living room. This large studio-sized room with a bar is big enough to accommodate one of NY´s most friendly and longest running party vibes. The decor favors minimalism over kitsch or swank and rotating artwork on the walls of its popular in-house gallery. Downtown hipsters mingle with jet-setting tourists and average joes at the tables, and a sweaty crowd somehow finds room in the middle to get down to the sounds of different DJs every night. The lineup boasts legendary house & hip hop, reggae, latin and disco DJs, including a Grammy Award winner, balancing eclecticism with crowd-pleasing populism, sometimes within the space of a single set.
